Open Travel Guide is published by a small editorial organisation. Guides appear under the name of the organisation rather than under individual bylines, and the organisation is accountable for everything on the site.

Guides are compiled from primary and official sources — national and regional tourist boards, transport operators’ own timetables and fares, site and museum operators’ published hours and admission prices, and official government travel information. We use automated tooling in drafting and assembling them, and we say so plainly rather than leaving it to be inferred; the detail is on our editorial policy page.

Prices, opening hours and transport details change, and a page is only as current as its last update, which is shown on every guide. If you find something wrong, tell us — corrections are the fastest way this site improves. More about who we are and how we work is on the about page.
