Boali Falls
Boali Falls is a wide curtain of water on the Mbali River, roughly 50 metres high and considerably broader in the rainy season when the river is running full. A hydroelectric dam sits just upstream and supplies part of Bangui's power, so the falls double as an engineering landmark alongside a natural one. In the dry season the flow drops sharply and the falls can shrink to a scatter of separate streams over the rock face, which changes the experience a lot depending on when you go.
