Maca Bana Villas

Maca Bana Luxury Boutique Resort is a collection of eight individually named villas perched on a lush two-acre hillside above Magazine Beach in St. George's Parish, Grenada. Each villa is positioned to capture panoramic views across the Caribbean Sea and the coastline stretching toward St. George's, with open western outlooks that make the property one of Grenada's best spots for sunset watching.

The villas — named Avocado, Rock Fig, Coconut, Mango, Cherry, Pineapple, Paw Paw, and Madam Jardin — are fully equipped for self-catering with fitted kitchens, outdoor dining terraces, hammocks, and air conditioning. High-speed Wi-Fi and daily housekeeping are standard. A shared infinity pool is positioned at the hillside's optimal point for sea views. The grounds are planted with the fruit trees and tropical species that give each villa its name, creating a working botanical character across the property.

The Aquarium Restaurant is Maca Bana's dining centrepiece, a beachfront venue at the foot of the property on Magazine Beach open to both guests and the public. It has developed an independent reputation for fresh seafood and Grenadian-influenced dishes. Villa guests have preferential reservation access and can arrange villa delivery of meals by prior request.

Magazine Beach offers a quieter alternative to Grand Anse — around 10 minutes' drive north — with strong snorkelling conditions directly off the sand. The beach is far less commercial, attracting local families and visiting yachts rather than beach vendors and water sports operators.

The steep hillside access road is an important practical consideration: a hire car or regular taxi service is strongly advised. Public buses do not conveniently serve this location. The villa format suits couples, honeymooners, and small groups seeking independence and privacy at a level of quality significantly above the nightly rate.
