Agra — Taj Mahal

Jaipur — Pink City

Mathura and Vrindavan are twin pilgrimage towns on the Yamuna associated with the birth and early life of Krishna, about 10km apart. Mathura centers on the Krishna Janmabhoomi complex, said to mark his birthplace, while Vrindavan is dense with temples tied to stories of his childhood. It's a shorter trip than Agra or Jaipur, which makes it manageable as a relaxed full day, though the temple towns are crowded and noisy in a way that's different from a monument visit.

Sariska Tiger Reserve
Sariska is a tiger reserve in the Aravalli hills near Alwar, and unlike the other trips on this list it's built around a single activity — a jeep safari through dry deciduous forest — rather than a town to walk around. Tiger sightings aren't guaranteed on any single safari, and the reserve's tiger population is smaller than places like Ranthambore, so it should be treated as a chance at wildlife and scenery rather than a promise.
