Daan Viljoen Game Reserve
A small state-run reserve in the Khomas Hochland hills just outside Windhoek, set around the Augeigas Dam. Unlike the country's big parks it holds no predators, so it is one of the few places in Namibia where you can walk on marked trails among free-ranging kudu, oryx, springbok, wildebeest and mountain zebra rather than viewing them only from a vehicle. It suits a half-day rather than a full one.

Rehoboth

Gross Barmen Hot Springs Resort

Swakopmund
