Edge of the World (Jebel Fihrayn)
A stretch of the Tuwaiq Escarpment where the cliff line drops away in a near-vertical wall onto the desert floor below, giving the sensation of standing at the planet's rim. Diriyah (At-Turaif District)

Masmak Fortress and Historical Riyadh Quarter
Masmak is the clay-and-mudbrick fort in central Riyadh where Abdulaziz Al Saud's 1902 raid began the founding of the modern Saudi state, and it now houses a small museum on that event and on the city's earlier history. It sits in the old quarter next to Souk Al Zal, so the fortress visit naturally extends into a walk through the surrounding market streets. This is a compact trip that fits easily alongside other central Riyadh stops in the same day.

Thumamah Nature Reserve
