Parador de Ávila

The Parador de Ávila is installed in the Piedras Albas Palace, a 15th-century nobleman's residence positioned inside Ávila's famous Romanesque city walls — one of the best-preserved medieval defensive circuits in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace adjoins the walls directly, and the hotel's walled garden connects to a walkway offering views across the surrounding plains of Old Castile. The location in the southwest quadrant of the walled city places guests within a ten-minute walk of the Cathedral, the Basilica de San Vicente, and the Convento de Santa Teresa de Jesús.

Rooms are distributed between the original 15th-century palace and a more recent wing extending into the garden. Standard and superior doubles in the historic wing retain stone walls, exposed timber beams, and period-influenced furniture; rooms in the newer wing are more contemporary but offer direct garden access.
