Tonga, the last Polynesian kingdom, offers pristine beaches, world-class whale swimming experiences, and authentic island culture. This South Pacific paradise spans 169 islands with crystal-clear waters, ancient archaeological sites, and welcoming local communities untouched by mass tourism.
Tonga has a tropical climate with two main seasons: a warm, wet season from November to April (cyclone risk, high humidity, temperatures 26-32C) and a cooler, drier season from May to October (trade winds, temperatures 22-28C, lower humidity). The dry season coincides with humpback whale migration July-October, making this the peak tourist season. Tonga lies in the South Pacific cyclone belt - serious storms can form November through April.
