Yemen captivates with ancient history, stunning architecture, and dramatic landscapes. From the UNESCO-listed Old City of Sana'a with its iconic tower houses to the otherworldly Socotra Island, Yemen offers unforgettable experiences for adventurous travelers.
Yemen has diverse climates ranging from hot coastal desert along the Red Sea and Arabian Sea coasts to cool highland temperatures in Sana'a (sitting at 2,300m elevation) where winters can be cold. Socotra Island has a unique tropical monsoon climate with the Indian Ocean monsoon closing the island June-September.
