Beautiful circular route from Malbun resort through high alpine terrain to the Sücka mountain hut and back. Excellent wildflower viewing in June-July with chamois possible year-round.

Demanding full-day hike to the remote Pfälzerhütte mountain hut at 2,108m. The highest achievable point for most hikers in Liechtenstein with extraordinary views into four countries on clear days.

- Spring
- May-June: Wildflowers bloom, trails clear of snow from mid-May at lower elevations. Ideal for Rhine Valley and lower trails. Upper trails may still be icy.
- Summer
- July-August: Best conditions for high alpine routes. Peak season with warm temperatures but afternoon thunderstorms possible. Start early.
- Fall
- September-October: Excellent hiking conditions, fewer crowds, beautiful autumn colors. Upper trails remain accessible until November.
- Winter
- November-April: Lower trails walkable but icy. Upper alpine routes snow-covered; Fürstensteig and Three Sisters closed. Snowshoeing available in Malbun.
