Luxembourg is a captivating blend of medieval fortresses, modern European institutions, and stunning natural landscapes. This small but mighty Grand Duchy offers UNESCO World Heritage sites, world-class dining with 11 Michelin-starred restaurants, and free public transportation throughout the entire country. From the dramatic Bock Casemates to the fairy-tale Vianden Castle, Luxembourg seamlessly combines rich history with contemporary sophistication.
Luxembourg City has a vibrant but compact nightlife scene centered on the Clausen valley, Grund district, and the lively Gare quarter. Despite the country's small size, the city punches above its weight with a sophisticated bar culture, live music venues, and a growing club scene. The European and banking community brings an international crowd, and the scene is welcoming to visitors from all backgrounds.
Lively and international. The Clausen riverside strip is the heart of nightlife with multiple bars, clubs, and restaurants side by side. The Grund valley offers more intimate jazz and cocktail bars in atmospheric medieval surroundings. The Gare district caters to a younger, more budget-conscious crowd with late-night kebab joints and casual bars.
