Known as the 'Land of a Thousand Hills', Rwanda offers breathtaking mountain landscapes, rare mountain gorilla encounters, and vibrant cultural experiences. This East African nation has transformed into one of Africa's safest and cleanest destinations, combining world-class wildlife safaris with moving historical sites and warm hospitality.
Rwanda enjoys a temperate highland climate year-round due to its equatorial location at 1,500-2,500m elevation. Temperatures in Kigali average 19-27°C (66-80°F) with minimal seasonal variation — Rwanda is often called 'the land of eternal spring.' The country has two rainy seasons (March-May and October-November) and two dry seasons (June-September and December-February) that dictate when national parks and outdoor activities are best accessed.
